Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arba Minch – Dorze Village Exploration

  • Pick up from Arba Minch airport or bus station

  • Drive up to the Guge Mountains to visit the Dorze tribe, known for their beehive-shaped huts and weaving traditions

  • Enjoy a traditional Dorze lunch and coffee ceremony

  • Cultural dance and community interaction

  • Sunset viewpoint overlooking Lakes Abaya and Chamo

  • Overnight in Arba Minch (hotel or lodge)

Day 2: Nechisar National Park & Boat Trip on Lake Chamo

  • Morning drive to Nechisar National Park

    • Game drive to spot wildlife such as zebras, antelopes, and various birds

  • Afternoon boat excursion on Lake Chamo

    • Spot giant Nile crocodiles, hippos, and birdlife at the “Crocodile Market”

  • Return to town for a relaxed evening

Day 3: Forty Springs – Local Market – Departure

  • Visit the Forty Springs (Arba Minch) – the source of the town’s name
